Dave was born and raised in Marin and earned his B.A. in Economics at UCLA. He serves his clients mainly in Sonoma County and in Marin County, where he began his career.He and his wife, Kate, moved to Sonoma County in 2008 and love calling Santa Rosa and the wine country their home! From walking their dogs in a friend's vineyard to exploring back roads by bicycle and savoring the rich bounty and diversity of local food and wine, they've never felt more settled or content than living in Sonoma County. This happiness and sense of place drives Dave's passion and enthusiasm as a REALTOR® to serve his clients.Dave has a broad base of experience in the residential real estate industry. He began his career in 1997 in Mill Valley, and sold homes throughout Marin County. In 2003, he was recruited by Coldwell Banker to lead the Greenbrae office as Sales Manager and Branch Manager until 2006.While selling and managing, Dave has been actively involved in his REALTOR® associations and has held numerous leadership roles. He was the 2003 President of the Marin Association of REALTORS® (MAR), a State Director to the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) from 1999 to 2004 representing Marin, and from 2009 to 2012 represented Sonoma and Napa Counties for NorBAR, the North Bay Association of REALTORS®. Dave currently serves on the NorBAR Education/Technology and Grievance committees. Since 2016, he has served on the Board of Directors of BAREIS, the Bay Area Real Estate Information Service, the regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which represents 8,000 members in six counties. Dave also holds the CRS® designation for superior service, knowledge and production, which is held by fewer than 4% of REALTORS® nationwide.After 20 years and hundreds of successful sales and transactions, Dave still really enjoys what he does and looks forward to helping clients with their real estate needs.
